Hi, I’m Andrew.
I’m a writer, web developer, social media type of person.
I like reading books, watching films and television programmes, going to museums and all the other usual entertainments. I also like writing, so it seemed like a good idea to have a place where I could make quick notes and reviews about all those books, TV shows, films, DVDs, Blu-rays, shows and the like – and that’s what this place is for. Just quick review, a paragraph or two on each. Or maybe three. Oh, okay, no more than four. Or five … Ahem. Seriously, I’ll try and keep it short!
Before Taking The Short View I had a blog for longer and more all-over-the-place articles which is still available at Let Me Think About That …, and another for motorsports posts about F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, IndyCar, GP2 and the like at my motorsports.ind blog. From 2010 until 2015 I also produced news reports, race reports and results for crash.net‘s GP2, IndyCar and NASCAR sections.
Currently I supply F1 news articles to the F1i.com website, and work on a variety of editorial and web development projects on a freelance basis. Please contact me if you have interesting projects that you think we could collaborate on.
